10-Word Reviews of Our Music Collection

Writing individual reviews for all of the albums in our music collection would take a very long time, perhaps not be very interesting and be far more pages on this site than anyone would bother to read! However, our music collection says something about us and our tastes and we thought an overview might work well. So here it is - 10-word reviews of each and every album in our music collection, though it'll take some time before it's complete and hopefully, it'll continue to grow.

Coldplay: 'Parachutes' - Fresh at first, but very quickly depressing and lacking variation.

Cush: 'Cush' - Jingly, jangly guitar tracks with sparse lyrics. Good, not brilliant.

Delirious: 'King of Fools' - Their first 'professional' album - classic songs marking a strong beginning.

Delirious: 'Mezzamorphis' - Bold, faith-full lyrics wrapped in progressive pop/rock sounds.

Everything But The Girl: 'Amplified Heart' - Mellow uncomplicated tunes mixed with beautiful deep lyrics. Easy listening.

Faithless: 'Reverence' - This broke new ground in 'house' music. Who can forget 'Insomia'?!

David Gate: 'Redemption' - Introductory 7-track, showing musical and lyrical promise.

Natalie Imbruglia: 'White Lilies Island' - Good enough to make us buy the new album.

Linkin Park: 'Meteora' - £2 from Oxfam, now we know what they sound like.

Madonna: 'Music' - Fair play for an album of a different style. Cheesy.

Mr Oizo: 'Analog Worms Attack' - Breaks, blips and beats for the mainstream. Plus Flat Eric!

Muse: 'Absolution' - Musically creative, lyrically brave. Stealing Radiohead's mantle?

Kendall Payne: 'Jordan's Sister' - Pleasant no-brainer listening, but copying so many other female artists.

Kevin Prosch & the Black Peppercorns: 'Tumbling Ground' - Tender, honest lyrics mixed with raw musicianship. Got us hooked!

Radiohead: 'The Bends' - A classic and amazing performed live. Can't help singing along!

Sasha: 'airdrawndagger' - The best £4 I ever spent on an album!

Jeff Searles: 'Inside Me' - Honest songs against simple, stripped down music. Not bad.

Turin Brakes: 'The Optimist LP' - Well written songs over well crafted acoustic guitar sounds.

U2: 'How To Dismantle An Atomic Bomb' - Big riffs, big lyrics, big songs from the biggest band!

U2: 'Pop' - Experimental album from the world's best. Didn't deserve such criticism.
